2005-2016 Toyota Tacoma/Prerunner 2WD/4WD - 6 Lug
Note: It is ReadyLift's position that our objective is to provide a
product that levels the vehicle. Through on-going research we have
discovered that Toyota trucks have a unique pattern of being
manufactured and sold with varying degrees of rear to front rake. It
appears that many Toyota trucks are not the same height or possess the
same rake as the same stock truck sitting next to it. Our research has
determined there can be as much as 1.0" difference in rake and ride
height from truck to truck. TRD-equipped trucks often have only 1.0" of
rake compared to a non-TRD truck. Measurements on some customer's
trucks have revealed as much as 1.0" difference in the factory front
end height.
If you measure the truck at stock height, then install a
3" strut extension and determine after installation and alignment that
the truck sits nose high, you most likely are an owner of one of the
trucks that has less rear to front rake. To compensate for the
difference, ReadyLift suggests installing one of our 1.0" (66-5001)
Rear Block Kits to achieve a slight rake to a level stance.
NOTE:
2011-2015 Tacoma applications: Toyota made minor changes to the Tacoma
upper control arm suspension geometry. In some cases adding a leveling
kit MAY affect the ability to correct the caster alignment to within
factory specifications. If you have a 2011-2015 Tacoma with a leveling
kit and the caster alignment specs cannot be put back to factory your
truck will require an aftermarket upper control arm with
adjustable caster/camber.

Professional
installation time is estimated at two to three hours. An alignment will
be necessary upon completion of installing the kit. Like all other
ReadyLift kits, the 2005-2015 Six-lug Tacoma/Prerunner lift kit is
guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects.
Allows for up
to a 33 x 11.5 tire on an 8" wide wheel with 5" backspacing with minor
trimming of the inner fender liner. 32.5" tires on and OEM or 5"
backspacing wheel should fit with no trimming required.
NOTE:
Our objective is to have your truck sit level or slightly below level.
Each truck is different so the amount of lift achieved may vary between
2.75" and 3.0" in the front. TRD-equipped
trucks often have less rake compared to a non-TRD truck. Measurements on
some customers trucks have revealed as much as 1.0 difference in the
factory front end height. Some earlier model Tacoma trucks came factory
with a 2 leaf plus overload rear spring pack that had sagging issues.
Toyota is replacing these packs with a 3+1 rear leaf pack. Trucks with
2+1 packs will want to take advantage of this new lift system that
includes a 1.0" rear lift block for a complete lift wall the way around
and a stance which will give approximately a .5" rear to front rake.
